last month my parents sent in the I-130 packet to the Chicago inbox..i did request email for the confirmation..but still i havent recieved anything yet..can anyone tell me how long am i suppose to wait? id like to track it..but how?..any help is appreciated thanks!

last month could be June 1st and June 30th as well. Speak up your mailing date and the date when it was delivered to USCIS.

It takes them about 1 to 2 weeks to issue NOA1.

I-130 was sent in June 21..express mail..so it should of arrived June 22nd..since i requested email confirmation they should of already sent the email?..its prob about 2 weeks now..not including the holiday..

thanks guys..is there any other paper work i should start preparing? so that i can have it ready before hand?

After all of that is done then the biometrics, medical exam and interview can all be taken care of.

for the affidavit..because im still a student,my parents will be the co signer..which form should i use?
