Waiting and Waiting for Green Card GC - please reassure me...!!!

OK so here's the scoop

Entered US on 6th Oct 2011

Married 6th Nov 2011

Filed 22nd Nov 2011

Biometrics 19th Dec 2011

And now it is July 4th and I have no GC Green Card, is this a NORMAL wait time in other peoples opinion? It seems very very long. I have my EAD and AP but I WANT my GC :(

Any responses would be greatly appreciated, I have called and they just say be patient.

Were you transferred to California for "speedy processing"? Join the queue and whilst waiting you can read all the other stories...

Some October filers are still waiting.

"The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office" it has stated that since Jan!!!

Yep, some of those getting transferred have ended up having an 8 month or more 'speedy processing'.
