How Long does it take for the NVC to issue an interview date for an IR petition.We have already sent the NVC the requested paper works and they confirmed having received them.How long do we have to wait now for an interview date?

For most countries you'll know the interview date within about ten days and it will be in a few weeks. HOWEVER, Accra Ghana is a whole other animal with a huge backlog for immigrant visa interviews. The only answer that will help you is specific to Ghana.

I have just recently finished my paperwork as well with the NVC and they said to give them like 20 business days but once you get your email for the interview you will notice that Ghana maybe slow but they are moving alittle faster now a days, so try to be alittle bit more patient and use this time to give all your paperwork you will be sending to him to prove you have an ongoing marriage together so by that time you would be a head instead of behind. Your turn is coming,GOOD LUCK!!!!
