In a closed door House GOP meeting Thursday, Indiana congressman and gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence likened the Supreme Court's ruling upholding the Democratic health care law to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, according to several sources present.

He immediately apologized.

I think he apologized because he realized most of the Universal Health Care bill was at one time introduced by the GOP, when they were for it, before they changed their minds...

On a positive note, he may have realized his low-handed pandering reached its nadir.
