Vaccine NVC

For those of you who been through this before and to those who might know better: can you please tell me what vaccines are required for me to have for that medical? I have a number of vaccines already I just want to go through the list to be sure from now so when my date come for my medical I wont have to be held up for any reason. Another thing I know that some vaccines are recommended for kids and some for adults, I am an adult. Thanks

Some panel physicians might say you need others but in reality that is all that is required right now for your age category. This is all my husband brought proof of to his medical and they didn't make him get any others.

I dont know. my husband has his medical on Tuesday @ the South doctor and i just told him call to find out which he have to get and if he can get them before he goes in. Im a little confused because they say that one of them is in 2 doses and they have to be taken a certin time apart.

I confirm. I just had my medical examination. Those three were the ones I had to take since I didn't have any vaccination record. All the others form the NVC list were ruled out due to age or season (Influenza season is fall according to the doctor).

Ok so I guess I am on target I got them all and yes I am over 18 and under 65. The ones you will be required to have in 2 doses will be the Hep A and the HEP B. Intervals are 6 weeks apart minimum. Sugarz Your husband can go to his helath center in his area and get his free. The Chicken Pox and the HEP A are not offered free so he will have to get that done at a Doctor's office. Maybe he is out of time now since his medical will be like next week, so I guess he will have to wait for the day of the medical to have things done there instead. Vaccinations can only be given either all together or in 6 weeks to 2 month intervals depending on the vaccine. I work at a health facility.

This was a timely post. I had my husband get started on his vaccinations this week because it turned out that he has no record of any of them (his parents weren't that particular about taking him to the doctor as a kid). I gave him the list from the embassy website (http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/medical-examination.html) for him to take to his physician and work from that. He also sent away for his police certificate. I know we don't have our NOA2 yet, but it seemed like a good time to get the ball rolling on these as we're really hoping to hear something from the VSC soon!

We have $1000 TTD put aside for the medical, they told him walk with $535TTD so i guess the rest will be sufficent enuff to cover the Vaccines. Just like everyone else i cant wait for this to be over. I remember when my dad took me when i was 16 to get my medical in POS done we left, went to get the other vaccines and then went back, but i couldnt rember y till now lolll. I hope they doctor doesnt charge too much for the ones my hubby can get for free at the clinc.

Td=tetanus (lock-jaw) and diptheria

Meningococcus causes meningitis

Eg dog bite lacerations ( car accidents or old metal cutting you).Meningococcus vaccinaton help prevent A bacterium (Neisseria meningitidis) that causes cerebrospinal meningitis.

He's 27 and has no Vaccines done since he was a little kid.

He probably had the MMR one at least then. If he already had it, he probably doesn't need it again, but he'd need to bring records or have the doctor test for it.
