Two questions for I-751 please -

1. We have a personal joint checking account that has 20k in it, is that a red flag at all? We used it for groceries and utilities paid but my paycheck goes in there as well.

2. We decided to file anything that has both our names on it. The question is, do you guys highlight the names and the date of the statement for bank and utilities so that they see them right away?

Thanks!

1. I am not sure I understand what you mean by red flags, as long as both names are on the account and it spans the 2 year, then it shouldn't matter

2. yes I highlighted what i thought was important or relevant. good luck.

They want to see co-mingling of finances, so any joint accounts are better than separate accounts. Any 401k, 403b, IRAs are all good as well as power of attorney, etc. Good Luck :)
