um.. freaking out kinda

So here i was sending off our I-864 PACKAGE via priority mail

just as i have sent the previous bills etc

and um..

I go online to track the package and this is my result

Label/Receipt Number:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Status: Notice Left

We attempted to deliver your item at 10:53 am on February 25, 2006 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

um.. does this mean they aren't going to pick up my package..

10th May 2005 I130 packet sent to TEXAS forwarded to Cali.

12th May 2005 NOA1 Received date.

14th May 2005 delivered at 4:34 am LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92607.

23rd May 2005 NOA1 notice date.

27th May 2005 NOA1 hits the mailbox.

13th August 2005 po po form mailed off with £10 cheque.

2nd September 2005 po po letter arrives.

3rd September a 4 week visit with hubby in GA

30th september 130 days on I130 and counting.

January 2006 case arrives at NVC finally(not sure about exact date)

17th February 2006 IV bill mailed back

sent I-864 02/23/06*

Visa Fee Bill recieved 02/27/06

03/07/06- called nvc.. they recieved visa fee bill and are sending out documents!!

03/07/06- called nvc and was notified RFE was being sent out.. :( !

03/07/06- requested 2005 tax transcripts (7-10 BUISNESSDAYS FOR ARRIVAL)

oh.. the wait.. is driving me mad...

03/11/-6 Recieved and RFE on I-864

03/14/06 - Recieved 230 (waiting on hubby's 230 in mail)

03/15/06- POSTED RFE PRIORITY MAIL

17th February 2006 IV bill mailed back

21st April case complete (sorry i have missed some dates of forms going back and forth)

2nd May case forwarded to Embassy in London

10th July 2006 visa interview 10.30 a.m.

HUBBY WAS APPROVED!!!!!!!! ♥ .. waiting on visa in hand.. omg omg omg omg omggggggggggg!!

Did you send it to a PO Box? The reason I ask, is that most places pick up their post office box mail very early in the morning... so that may be the reply that they send to you until the package is actually picked up. Sorry I'm not much help! Wishing you the best!

We got the same message when we sent our our K1 package to Texas, don't worry. I think what they do is only pick up the mail once a day so the mailmen just leave notices and they pick the mail up the next day. Besides, the 25th was Saturday, they wouldn't be getting mail then. So, it should be picked up tommorow :)

Also, Feb 25th was a Saturday. I am not sure that was one of the reason you got that message... Try to track it again in few days... You can also call NVC to see if they have received your 864 package...

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval
