I posted this as a question in another topic, but no one has even viewed it yet, so am pasting into this topic....I would appreciate any help with this, thanks in advance.

Okay called the DOS again today to confirm the mailing date and she told me we are in AP. Question is after the re approved petition is mailed back to the Consulate, what will AP consist of for Lagos petitioners?

Will there be field visits?

Request for me to be there?

More evidence has already been established in another post, but ANYTHING you can pinpoint or narrow down to would be most helpful. We wish to be fully prepared this time around!

Tracy,

Did they say MANDATORY AP?

or INTERNAL AP

if it is mandatory AP then maybe he will not have an interview and they will issue the visa after his background check is complete.

If it is internal ap then the paperwork is being checked at the embassy and they will probably call him for an interview soon

can you email the embassy?

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Oh I don't know...please don't make me call that rude woman back again, lol....But I already emailed the Embassy, just haven't heard back from them, yet. DOS kind of made it clear they don't have any more info to give to me. Thanks for the suggestion, and once I hear anything I will update...
