OMG, if things cant get any worse, my I-129F petition was forwarded from the NVC to the wrong embassy, I just cant believe how stupid they are. I guess they send your I-129F petition to the embassy where you were married and even though we were married in a Palestinian town in the West Bank, they sent the petition to Jordan because I guess someone isnt up on their current events, and still dont realize that the West Bank does not reside in Jordan. Of course I called the NVC and they cant do anything about it now, I need to contact the Jordanian Embassy and ask them to forward it to Jerusalem myself. OMG I can just strangle someone right about now.

Or perhaps just go to the other embassy for the interview, there are many cases where people reside in one country, but have to interview in another.

Do they have your correct address to send packet 3 to?

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

First of all, Jerusalem is a consulate not an embassy as the embassy is in Tel Aviv. I agree however with the above poster. Do you know for sure that Jerusalem processes k-3's? The website is silent on it (or I just could not find info. For example, until just a few years ago all Ukrainians had to go to Warsaw because Kiev did not do them....

YMMV

I am working on Visa Transfer for myself as well. I was told to request to the embassy where you would like to have an interview at, and the embassy will forward your request to the embassy that has your case. I filled up the form DS-3098 and sent it to the embassy where I would like to have an interview. Not sure whether Jerusalem also has the same process but you may want to check with the embassy where you want to have an interview at first.
