ESTA?

This may be a very silly question, but do i still need to apply for the ESTA when i fly into the US even though i've already been granted my K1 and have the visa in my passport? I've only got a one way flight as well.

I actually got my ESTA renewal notice via email ... and I was like ... um .. do I still have to do that ?

I found ESTA email address and sent them a message asking if I had to renew.

I was told, anyone holding a valid resident card didnt require ESTA anymore. ESTA for me, when I did have to apply, took less than 5 minutes. So I would think, for peace of mind, to have my ESTA number valid until I had the residency card in hand.

When we flew out of Heathrow, the line checker guy was repeating to everybody "do you have your ESTA?" Don't let something like that put you in a panic. The answer is " No, I'm traveling on a visa,"
