I sent in my fiancee application about six weeks ago. I am waiting for the first Notice of Action. I thought it would be here by now. Is there reason be nervous that it has taken six seeks and counting and I still have not received the NOA 1?

I know that it is required to give them a record of transactions over a certain period from your bank. But aside from a standard bank balance statement or activity record the bank doesn't seem to know what I am asking for. I'm not entirely clear on it either. Is there some special term or designation or any other information that would help me make it clearer to the bank what I need from them and how they can provide it?

Thanks.

Six weeks is a little long. Have they cashed the check you sent in?

It is absolutely not necessary to give them a record of transactions from your bank. Do you mean for the affidavit of support at the interview stage?
