Hi Saylin, so this instruction packet is what will follow once the NVC completes the case? right now, I called and they received my AOS documents and everything was fine with that (thank God), but now they are still working on my husbands DS-230 documents..they haven't updated the system as of yet with regard to these documents...but we're hoping by next week, and we can finally get a interview date (at last...) hope next week will bring good news!! thanks

No, the instruction package is sent after the IV bill is paid. What you sent, the DS-230, is the IV package.

how do you know they have lost your I-864 when you just paid your AOS bill on 6/15? Did NVC operator explicitly told u "We lost your AOS" ??????

Yes I paid both bills I assume before they actually had the documents. My lawyer is handling all my work. However when I called NVC they only had half of my documents.. They had I-864A but not the I-864. Called lawyer and she swear she sent it all, so anyway she submitted again. It's not what the lawyer say that count but what NVC say is law.

Hi James, just clarification on this...Saylin has helped my husband and I with very helpful info, now how your lawyer is dealing with your documents to NVC, seems like your lawyer needs to be on top of it...or you may have been paying her for nothing..like I said, I did this all myself, and have had no problem...I spoke to NVC today and they got my AOS paperwork and it's fine, now watiting for my husbands DS-230 paperwork to be reviewed...but it's no one's fault, we must take accountability for our actions and who we choose to represent us, I'm just saying respectfully, keep up on your lawyer, you PAID her alot of money...make sure she working for you and doing what she supposed to!! you spend all this money on them, you should be getting your moneys worth!!! sometimes lawyers dont know what they doing either!!! thats the REALITY of all this, thats why I chose to do it all on my own, and like others on here as well who have gone this route and have no problems!! good luck
