Situation: I have recieved the NOA2 approval, waited three weeks and called NVC to verify its arrival. NVC has no record and has requested I photocopy the NOA2 and email it to them. My NOA2 has a blank box for priority number.

Question: Has anyone else had NVC claim no knowledge after this amount of time? Second, I noticed on the NVC website that the priority date more or less determines when a case will be forwarded to the US consulate/embassy of the benificiary's country, does the lack of a priority number mean USCIS made a mistake?

Thanks!

It is my understanding that there are no priority dates with the K-1 visa process.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

well i guess that confirms it about an average of 23 days from NOA2 to NVC recieved for case number.

There is a couple that filed a week ahead of us, theirs xfered from USCIS to NVC in 10 days, then ours took 23 or so...When I talked to the NVC they said there was a sudden backlog (I picture a hose whipping effect) I wonder if they will ever get caught back up to the 10 day timeframe? Wont help me but would be nice for everyone else to come!
