Case number NVC

When I get my case number from the NVC can I go ahead and schedule the appointment for my fiance's K-1f visa intervien or do I have to wait for the consulate to schedule and notify her?

I think it depends on the embassy. Look them up on the web and see if they have any info posted. the important thing is to have everything ready for the interview, med, interview fee paid, the forms they want. Usually i think, the Embassy will contact your fiancee once they receive your packet and tell them what they need.

Thanks. I have everything ready to go I am just wanting to get the appointment scheduled as soon as I can so that I can buy some plane tickets and also schedule work. Thanks for the info.

The Embassy in Peru will send the packet to your fiancee in Peru. If she does not receive it within a few weeks, it may have been lost by SerPost and she or you should start following up with the Embassy to check on the status.
