Ok, so tell me if this has happened to you or not. I sent in all of the paperwork for the I-130 and made an explanation sheet for my wife's biographic information, and accidentally put her birthdate beside my name.

I put the format like this:

....Explanation...

_________________________....______________________________

Signature of Petitioner...................Name of Petitioner

_________________________....______________________________

Date Signed by Petitioner.................Date of Birth of Petitioner

_________________________....______________________________

Signature of Beneficiary..................Name of Beneficiary

_________________________....______________________________

Date Signed by Beneficiary................Date of Birth of Beneficiary

Have you ever freaked out because of silly little mistakes like this? Cuz, I just did. But I realized there is really nothing I can do about it now. I'll just have to wait and see if they care.

What do you think? Do you think they will return our petition? Thanks.

My wife messed up on her address at one point in our I-130.

The first time she wrote her address it said "6543 Any St." and the second time it said "43 Any St."

I don't know if it's a "comparable" mistake, but we received our NOA2 in 3.5 months with no RFEs... And they somehow figured out it was 6543 and not 43. I think as long as the adjudicator can figure it out with limited resources in a reasonable amount of time, it's no biggie.

My best advice is always to read over 7 times before sending it in, and never reading it over after it's sent.

Sounds comparable to me. They should be able to figure out my date of birth from the I-130 form. I think it would be clear to them I made a mistake. It was a separate sheet my wife and I wrote in order to explain her employer history since there wasn't enough room on the G-325A. Hopefully they'll overlook it. I'm glad they overlooked yours. haha. I think you're right about not reading it over after it's sent. That is actually very good advice. Once It's sent there's nothing you can do about it anyways. I read it over and over before I sent it and somehow still missed this detail. Oh well. Here's to hoping they'll overlook it. Thanks for posting. You made me feel a little bit better about it.

Don't panic :) You made a mistake in your attached document and not in a form. So chances are very less to get RFE for this :) Sit back and relax, hopefully you will have your NOA2 without any issues

Thank you, smart. :) Yes, you are right. It was a form I made up on my own to add to my wife's Biographic Information form. Good, I will relax. Thanks.
