Just curious what happens if one received the NOA2?

My NOA1 was Jan. 9, 2012 via Vermont Proc Center.

I plan to fly to Philippines this June but still waiting for the the NOA2. Just curious when one receive the NOA2 what additional papers or action is required, or is NOA2 just a Notice from USCIS as to the progress of my petition?

The NOA2 is usually an approval notice, saying they've approved your PETITION to file for the K1 visa. They will then send it to the NVC, and then to the embassy in the beneficiary's home country where there will be a medical exam, some more forms to fill out, and an interview.

Therefore I can travel. I just have to wait for US embassy in Philippines to give notice to my fiancee. Whereas more forms to fill when she received the packet. Am I right to assume if no RFE is needed Nothing else for me to do here stateside?

Yes read the guide, there is still a LOT more to do after receiving the NOA2. The main thing form the states is that you will have to supply your fiance with a form I-34 Affidavit of Support, and a bunch of tax records and employment records to go with it.

The guides will tell you everything you have to do, take some time to research. I mean no offense, but it seems like everyday people here say 'someone please outline the entire process for me' even though info is very easy to find on this site.
