I just read back on the boards and it seems very common that when you call the information line and wait for hours, only to be transferred for another hour to talk to a total pillock who then claims they cannot hear you.

Well, that happened to me on friday.... twice. Being sceptical and frustrated and angry as hell, I replied the second time "well isn't that convenient? You know, I could do your job standing on my head ... (under my breath) you idiot"

Only to get yelled back in my ear... "Don't call me an idiot"

It seems he could hear me afterall.... :P

(I can laugh now, The reason I was calling was because I was worried my biometrics had gone awol. They arrived yesterday.)

LOL its really frustrating to get biometrics late isn't it? There should be some sort of standard you'd think, but of course this is USCIS, and nothing ever makes any sense... Congrats on your bio letter though!

Same thing happened to me... after my smart-a$$ed comment and their response.. "oh, you heard that"

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I wonder why they would do that? And I wonder if all the people that get that "I don't hear you" are talking to the same person? Or if it's become a trend, so to speak, for the people answering the phones. One person started it and now everyone's doing it. I mean, honestly, what good does it do? They'll just get the next call transfered within a few seconds (I would imagine?). Are they just so damn lazy that they can't be bothered to look up the info, so they just pretent they can't hear so that they don't have to work? What #######. I wonder if there's any way for you guys to complain since this obviously a pattern that several people have experienced. Unbelievable!
