Stay positive...it's just the way it is. Look at it this way...they've looked at it now, send them what they're asking for ASAP, and you'll be approved in a matter of days. Then, you can move forward. I would focus on the Embassy stage at this point...this part was easy, lol. Good luck with everything and stay blessed.

I don't believe Nyali was looking for help with the RFE...I believe they were venting a little about the "time" it took for their file to be looked at. That's the point of their post. Let's remember that we're all here to help each other.

You're most welcome. It's a difficult and trying process...and we're here to guide you through. Like I said, go to the Nairobi Embassy website (http://nairobi.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas/visa-packets.html) and read through the visa packet for the CR-1 visa (it actually still says "K3")...that will keep you busy. You may also want to read through the entire Nairobi Embassy Thread (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/160251-nairobi-embassy-thread/) to prepare more for the interview stage. Stay blessed.

On behalf of other VJ's what was your RFE about. Also after you submit what is requested on that RFE it will take roughly 1 week to a month to be processed. When i say process I mean approved (disapproved) or another RFE. I hope for an approval for you.

I just got the email stating they sent out an RFE, I have not received the hard copy in the mail. I will list the reason for the RFE as soon as I receive it.

Got my RFE in the mail. I submitted just a marriage certificate from church, and they need something from the government/ marriage certificate that is registered / recorded with the county clerk.

Honestly RobbyUSA what help can you really give when most of your posts you are criticizing other peoples posts!Did you manage to figure out how to get your timeline done? Typical French!
