Please I was just wondering if any Nigerian VJ can tell me how much it cost to get a police certificate. I heard that you have to get it at the Police headquarters in Alagbo, Lagos. How many days does the process take?

Hi, I am currently residence abroad, but my sista is doing it for me. I will help u enquire about the price. The question i have is about birth certificate. I want to know if the American consulate accepts Birth attestations, which they give in place of original birth certificates. Mine went missing many years ago. Cheers

police report cost roughly between N8000 to N10,000 depending on who you meet. it takes no time at all. you pick it up same day.

AOS & EAD = 29/11/06

NOA 1'S = 6/12/06

RFE = 15/12/06

RFE SENT = 02/01/07

BIOMETRICS = 08/01/07

Tranfered to CSC =17/01/07

Received at csc = 22/01/07

APPROVED = 29/01/07

Approval notice sent =01/02/07

GREEN CARD RECEIVED=03/02/07

I paid N6000 in January , it depends who you meet at that time, it's never fixed , it could be more or less. I received it within an hour.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Nigerian police certificate was 5000 naira (this May 2012) and you will collect same day - Just know your way around and ask the officer to help.

We are at the NVC stage for document submission and a few days ago, we got a checklist for the Birth Certificate Attestation from the National Population Commission. We sent in only the Birth Attestation and failed to send in the affidavit deposed to by mum, on the basis of which the Birth Attestation was issued. My spouse called the NVC to explain to them we spent in the Birth Attestation and the person she spoke to informed her that since the Birth Attestation was not a certificate, we should in response to the checklist prepare a statement of no birth certificate and add an affidavit deposed to by a close relative who was present at my birth. If we had known, we would have sent in the Birth Attestation and the Affidavit and we would not have had the checklist.

I got mine for 3500 in april and I received it in less than an hour.you have to bargain with them you don't just agree to the amount you are been told by the officer you meet.let him no what you can afford.

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.
