Making corrections to an already submitted application

4 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I have discovered an error in my application. On the I-130 where it asks what USCIS office you intend to adjust status at, I put in Chicago IL when I should have put the office closest to where I reside which is Memphis TN. This is totally my fault and I should have known better. Is there a way to correct this without causing an extended delay of proceedings. its already been 18 days since my packet arrived and still yet to receive a NOA. I really need this to be corrected. Please help!

What they said.

Cool your jets, use a smaller font, stop panicking and let USCIS process their case.

If you haven't heard anything you are likely fine. People always think if they don't hear anything that they should worry. Not so.

If there is a problem, don't worry, USCIS will not hesitate to let you know about it.

Keep calm and occupy your time.
