DS3032 Generation.....never received

My Mother's petition was approved on April 19th. NVC received it on May 4th, and last week (May 21st) we learned that it has FINALLY been entered. We were told that the DS3032 had been generated and we provided them with our email address here in the states due to my mom not having any email access.

1. Since I have my case number and a completed, signed DS3032 (that was fed-ex'd by my mom), can I just glue my completed barcode strip onto the DS3032 and send it in?

2. When will we receive an invoice ID Number?

3. I thought NVC had an automated phone system to call and check progress etc without having to go through a CSR? Where can I find the number?

The main issue seems to be our timing on the DS3032 so we can get acceptance and move onto the other stages. We were however thrown a curveball by not receiving the email from NVC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

1. Forget about mailing in the DS-3032 and just EMAIL it in. It's free and much faster. Follow the template here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

2. Call NVC and ask from the operator. Or, wait for the first email from NVC which contains the case number, IIN, and an old DS-3032.

3. NVC used to have an AVR, but that stopped 2 months or so ago. You can only call and speak with an operator now.

As luck would have it, we forgot to check our mailbox on Saturday and when I did (after my post yesterday) we found information sent to us by NVC. So, we went ahead and did BOTH today. One email from from beneficiary using the template, and I just sent the DS3032 she had fed ex'd to us a couple of weeks ago to NVC express mail.

Does anyone know how long it takes for NVC to acknowledge the DS 3032?

Thanks for the idea to just email it.

It's currently taking around a week for NVC to accept DS-3032 by email. I don't know anyone that has snail mailed the DS-3032 in, but I'm imagining that'll take longer.

Thanks again. In the meantime since I paid the AOS invoice online, can we keep checking it's status somehow to see when to mail it in?

Yup. Once the AOS shows as PAID on the payment portal, then you can send in the AOS package.
