Ok so my fiance had his interview for a k1 visa...was approved. they requested me to send cosponsor info, which was recieved yesterday. When and how would I know if everything is ok with his paperwork? Do they just email me or do they just issue a visa? If anyone had to send in any documents after the approved interview please give me some feedback.

something similar happen to me.

I had my interview at the US embassy of my country before receiving my K1 finacé visa, and when I was there they couldn't proceed with my application before I had provided them with some additional evidence from my affidavit support/sponsor. So had my sponsor attach all the info in an e-mail sent to them, i think they wanted to see some tax returns and proof of US citizenship, proof of employment etc. they received it and I was like "now what?"

The only info the embassy would give me was that the consular office had received the additional evidence and nothing else. But one-two weeks later I got my passport back with my K1 fiancé visa, accepted. So it went by quick after that. (for me at least, at the US embassy in Stockholm.)

Good luck:) I guess you can't do much more then wait for now...:/

No they approved him and said your visa will come in 3 days we waited I contacted them...no response. Called dos they the ones that told me I needed a cosponsor. I looked at your timeline you got your visa 6 months later?
