Really need to go to interview that early?

I read about a lot of people going into the Manila embassy at like 2am. Is that necessary if you have an interview scheduled?

Waiting 4 hours for the doors to open is about the same as waiting 4 hours in line after it opens right?

Why would they schedule an interview date and not guarantee an interview on that day?

I had my schedule at 6:30.i arrived at the embassy 5:30.it's really up to u when u want to arrive as long as ur not late.

When we went to our interview. We arrive at 6:15 AM. Jump out the taxi and was on line waiting about 10 mins to get inside the embassy. Our total time from arriving at the embassy to end of interview. 3 hours. My dad spoke with a lady that was there waiting since 1:00 AM . If you want to play it safe get there at 5:00 - 5:30 AM.

My fiancee's appt was at 6:30am and she got there at 6:30am ...( she's always running behind ) anyway, she was home by 11:30am

Same here, he got an appointment for 6:30, we arrived in US Embassy at 5:45, go in line, and were able to get inside after 10 mins. No need to be there at 2am. You can tell your fiancee to sleep and get enough rest.

Agree: 2 a.m. & other such hours unnecessary; tell your fiancee please try to get some extra sleep. Inday arrived about 5:30 a.m. for 6:30 appointment slot. Even maybe arriving that time that was a little too early. After going inside, the order in which individuals were called for pre-screening and interviews seemed pretty random, anyway. --RK

My fiancee had a 6:30 interview time, we arrived at 5:30, the guards started moving the lines closer to the embassy at 6:00, then at 6:30 they started checking people through. We were done a little after 10AM. I would not arrive more than an hour early.
