g325a City and Country of Birth (Jamaica)

I'm a little confused by what to put for "city & country of birth" on my g325a (and possibly other forms)

My Passport says St.Andrew, Jamaica

My Birth Certificate says Half-Way-Tree in St. Andrew Jamaica

St. Andrew is a province (parish)

Kingston is both a capitol city and a parish (inside St.Andrew)

Kingston is a large city with Half-Way-Tree being one of the districts

I could be wrong on this, but I don't think Half-Way-Tree is recognized as a city

So for place of birth I usually write "Kingston, Jamaica", "Kingston, St. Andrew, Jamaica", or sometimes "St. Andrew, Jamaica" to follow the Passport. Would either answer be fine?

Personally, I'd just match what's on your passport. Or do what Tygrys said and include both what's on your birth certificate and your passport.

And I just want to add, that "Half-Way-Tree" might be the coolest name for a town I've ever heard. :)

Again, please put Kingston as the (State),

Jamaica as the Country,

St, Andrew as the town,(parish)

Half-Way-tree is just the name of the Community.

Those who review documents submitted on-be-half of residents who resides in Jamaica, understands that St. Andrew is a parish.

Kingston, Jamaica is what is most prevalent.
