No, no business license needed. What matters when self employed is line 22 of his most recent tax return.

thank you penguin but we are so confused because the lawyer told my wife he needs it before they sent me the packet. im almost done from medical just waiting to email the embassy to give them my package and they will set an interview date

You need to expedite at each level so yes, fresh expedite at embassy level.

1.you suggest me to tell my wife to expedite now or when the packet is complete? im waiting my lawyer to send me the AOS and my police clearance i send it to him 2 weeks ago but he didnt sent it yet to NVC cause expedite approve so he is gonna send me all the papers i need in 3 days . and the embassy told me when you complete your pappers e mail us.

2.is 72.000 $ per year its enough for the AOS ( my wife and her brothers and parents they are 5 members in the same home )
