How long does it take for NVC to upgrade status from F2a to IR

Hi

My case at NVC has been completed for a year now . I was waiting for my priority date to be current. Now I have become a US citizen I emailed NVC to upgrade my case from F2a to IR1. It has been almost a month and they haven't changed my status yet. I was wondering how long does it normally take for NVC to upgrade a status and subsequently schedule my hubby's interview ?

Call USCIS and upgrade the petition and they will send you a brief email about what was done for your case. Also, Ask them to expedite it based on this upgrade and your case will be complete in 60 days.

My case was upgraded to IR1 last week. Now I am waiting for NVC to schedule the interview. I am hoping it will be done in a month or two.

Hi, I am in a similar situation where I was notified my upgrade (F2A to IR/CR)is being reviewed and I recieved this mail on Monday, September 10th after requesting upgrade with proof of citizenship on August 29th. Can someone please update me on how much time it takes for the upgrade review to be complete? I have a PD of 11-4-2010 and have filed upto IV processing and was waiting for an interview date.
