I know that service members are entitled to reimbersment of the fees, the only fee we are not getting back is the medical fee. I am just having trouble locating the regulation that covers it. I know i wont see the money until i leave germany, i am just wanting to read up on the regulation.

I've never heard of that. the military has no buisness with your spouses immigration. I think, you got some wrong information.

Hey I'm in the same boat was told at Frankfurt that the cost was reimbursable so sent the email with receipt to financing and they denied it. This is not because the visa process has nothing to do with the military but if you acquire dependents after arriving on station they WILL NOT reimburse anything. Your spouse must be on your PCS orders prior to traveling. MPF even refused to amend my orders, now I couldn't actually find any reg stating that they will not reimburse due to her not being on the orders but I will not argue as finance at Ramstein sucks as they do not have a walk in office. The regulation reference is here you can also look on the JFTR further for benefits you can receive while separated. For example while you wait you are authorized too receive FSH (family seperation housing allowance) only if she has a current rental or mortgage contract with the price listed and her as the rentor. I have the exact references at work I can send them to you when i return tomorrow message me if you like. pm me privately and I'll give you mt my military address. Adding that it is reimbursable per JFTR there is just strict regs for it. you will get your money back if you were married prior to traveling to germany and she was on your orders.
