Question on pk 3

Hi

Can anyone help? On the DS-230 and the DS-156 forms (I looked at the example forms on this forum) it asks you to list all previous visits to the US. I have been to the US 14 times on tourist visas over the last 11 years (married for 10 years, always visiting relatives). I know when I entered the US each time but on some of the earlier trips I don't know the exact date I left and it is not stamped in my passport. I know roughly how long I was there each time. Did anyone else just put month and year for each trip or did you all put day as well? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Caroline

Caroline,

Answer questions to the best of your ability. 'I don't remember' is an acceptable answer when you don't remember.

you don't have to get stressed out about this.

here is what I did:

I have visited the US several times and do not even remember every time, I called the embassy and asked what to do about that and they told me to just put in all the dates I remember. So I put in the last few visits that I still remembered (either just the month and year or the exact date depending on my memory). Then I wrote "There have been more visits but I can not recall them all" on the form.

you are even in a better situation compared to me because at least you remember each visit even if you don't know the exact date, so thats not too bad. just fill in what you remember and you will be fine.

good luck
