My fiancee's interview is coming up on May 16. The problem we're having is deciding whether or not to wait for a DS-230 that is not expired or not. The current copy available on the US Embassy website expired on 4/30/2012. http://moscow.usembassy.gov/iv-fiancee.html

For the past few months, they haven't been updating that form until about the middle of the month.

The question is, if we go ahead and fill out and print the one that expired on 4/30/2012 will the embassy accept it or not?

Has anyone encountered this?

What you're looking at is NOT the form's expiration. That's the OMB expiration date. Please read post 2 here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/80942-ds-230-is-expire-today/

okay - So, can you tell me what the IV fee bill is?

All that I have is the Visa Fee Payment Receipt from the Bank of the Russian Federation (paid online)- Is that the same thing?

The IV fee bill is something for IR-1/CR-1 visa applicants that they pay while at NVC. As a K-1 visa applicant, you skip NVC and send your forms and payments directly to the consulate/embassy.

So, if the OMB's expiration on our form was in February (when we originally did the form), should we do it again?

No, it's not needed. That OMB expiration has nothing to do with the form expiring.

Well, now I'm having problems with the DS-156 form - I've filled it out online, in Internet Explorer 9 and with the newest version of Adobe Acrobat, about 100 times, but the form never generates so that I can print the form off.

My fiancee is planning on printing all of the forms out tomorrow, but I cannot get this one! :(

Am I doing something wrong?

I've also restarted, updated, and cleared my cache several times.

What about the "IV Delivery Confirmation"?

What about the "IV Delivery Confirmation"?

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with that K1 term.
