Hi All,

Maybe its nothing to worrry about but for question #1 in which it ask making specific contribution, the example form that I pulled from visajourney put in "N/A (K1 Visa process for permanent residence)." I am not sure if this is sufficient. I also notice that none of the boxes are check (of course because its an N/A). But should I say that I will provide her housing and food as long as we are together? mmm..what have others wrote that were okay especially for those who went through the Manila embassy. Thx!

We filled out the I-134 exactly as the sample form here at VJ and did not have any problem with it at the Manila embassy.

If you are referring to question 11, I did like the example form in this site, put on the line below "N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )"

Note: this form has many uses, such as petitioning for a visitor, student, and so on, those cases they are truly temporary visitors, non-immigrating, and they want to know how you will support that temporary visitor.

Since you are bringing a fiance to the states this question is not relevant or "not applicable".

ok. well, i just had a look at the 1-134 my fiance sent to me and he did write "I intend to marry .... and to provide room , board, and living expenses."

now I looked at this threat and found out he should have just written N/A. now is it a bad thing that he wrote the line above instead of writing N/A??????

my interview in on tuesday, so not much of a chance to change it now.

am I in trouble?????

thanks
