i found out my case number by calling NVC. i also received a snail mail about a week after the case number was assigned. you should receive a snail mail from NVC. know it can be frustrating trying to get thu to an operator there.

Prepare yourself for a wait. Our NOA2 was approved on 14 Sept and still NVC does not have it or at least they say they do not have it. Same thing for folks approve first week of Sept and most of the long waiters r form CSC like u. Good luck, Payato

I'm a 9/20/06 NOA2 Approval and like others am in pure Limbo~!!!

We got a letter from NVC on September 13th, notifying that the case will be sent to the embassy... Fiance has yet to recieve the packet. Getting kinda anxious since the NOA2 states an expiration date of Dec 22... thats 10 weeks away :S

if your petition is at the Embassy, it usually will renew the NOA2 if it expires before the interview.

By the time I received my hard copy notice from the NVC, the paperwork was already at the Consulate. If you want to know your NVC case number, keep phoning: 603-334-0700 option1, then option 5. Have your case number and the name/birthdate of the beneficiary ready when they ask...

Im in the same boat - waiting for my pacakge to get from the CSC to the NVC (I got my NOA2 at the end of September). Am I right in thinking that i read somewhere on this forum that the CSC wait until they have a huge pile of applications and then send them up to the NVC all at once?

Anyway glad to know that I'm not the only one waiting.
