Police clearance

Has anyone here had to get a police clearance from qatar, we went to manila to get this ahead of our interview, u know (trying to plan ahead)...wrong!! they told her they she couldnt get the fingerprints done at NBI because she didnt have a checklist. I was really optimistic about the whole idea..we will get it ahead, so when everythings approved we can schedule the interview asap...wrong. That would make sense. So we have to wait until everything is approved, and then and only then can we send the police clearance request in the mail to Qatar. Which takes 4-6 weeks...Is this right? Please any advice would be appreciated.

A checklist? My fiance got it done 3 weeks ago. They have to go to NBI to get the fingerprints down, then send them off to the DFA.

Then DHL the packet to Qatar. You can NOT just go to the embassy in Manila

No, i think u misunderstand. We are in the process of waiting for the NO2, we decided to go to manila to try and get the police clearance for qatar..when she went to NBI on taft ave, they told her in order to get fingerprints she had to have a checklist from the US embassy before she could get the fingerprint card. she already has NBI for Philippines.

She got the fingerprints done at the NBI in Davao, then had to have them shipped off to the DFA in Manila for certification. She got that back within a week. Then you have to send all that stuff to the Qatar embassy in Taguig, they will send it to Qatar. Its about a 6-8week process which sucks

I sent the qatar embassy consulate another email and a copy of her fingerprint card to see if its the right one, whereabouts in Davao did she go, the crime lab? In March, we went to NBI across from Victoria plaza and they sent us to crime lab, said they stopped giving Sundry cards at NBI and did it at the crime lab now.

hey guys just curious. because I have a similar thing to do. My fiance is in Qatar right now. do you think I should let her file her visa in Qatar or it will be a lot easier If I ask her to just go home and get her Visa in the Philippines? From the way Im understanding in the thread looks like its such a pain in the #### to file for your fiance in Qatar. anyone has any suggestions?

I would file when she is back home in the Ph. But first she needs a police clearance from Qatar. Which is ALOT easier if she is still in Doha. Our situation is different since both of our Fiance's are in Davao now not Doha

You can go ahead and file the paperwork to get the NOA1, while she is still there. Then by the time she gets back to the ph, it should be ok for her to do medical and the interview

I want to get a dubai police clearance needed for my visa for Canada. i know n unang kukuha ng fingerprint form NBI. Does anyone of you who knows kung kelangan pa b ng request letter from Canada embassy n ibibigay s NBI? O pede n mg walk in s NBI to ask for fingerprint?

This is not my personal experience but a friend of mine went through this process 2-3 years ago so I don't know if it still current. She wrote a request letter addressed to the ambassador or something stating her intention to claim a police clearance certificate and the date of entry and exit in Qatar. And it should include your contact details like address, contact number and email address etc. She also sent photocopies of her old and new passport plus the stamps of her entry and exit date in Qatar. Her NBI Sundry Card, she went to NBI Taft Ave. and waited for like a week then went to DFA. Old BLDG. in roxas to get it authenticated. She photocopied everything and sent it to Qatar Embassy thru DHL and waited for 2-3 months for the Police Clearace to arrive.

Yeah that is everything that needs to happen in order to get one. What sucks for me and NY Yankees is that we live in Davao. So anything that we have to send off is to Manila and then back to Davao.
