Hello fellow Members,

Hope y'all are doing great. Ok I have a quick question regarding my N-400 Application.

I did my biometric on April 5 and i just got my appointment letter for my Citizenship Test and Interview on June 7th.

In the letter or checklist of documents that i need to bring, one of this says i need to bring the IRS 1722 letter for the past 3 years.

We filed our income tax joint yearly since we got married in 2007. This year we filed married but separated for hubby's back child support reasons.

I already have my INcome tax since 2007 till 2011 and also have my last 3 years Tax Transcript.

Here is my question:

1. what is this letter from IRS 1722 ? Is it needed eventhough i have complete Income Tax yearly and Tax Transcript from 2007 till 2011?

2.How about the proof of marital union evidence,,do i have to provide the whole 3 yrs of utility bills, bank accounts, etc or one bill each year would do?

I would appreciate your help. thanks.

1722 is the transcript

More than 1 bill/statement per year. One per quarter on the bank statements, etc.

USCIS personnel need to stop confusing applicants by asking for a form that the IRS no longer uses. Letter 1722 is obsolete. It is no longer a valid letter. The USCIS should just ask for tax transcripts.
