NVC keeps sending me the DS 3032 pdf. :S I don't know... I sent my Choice of Agent by email on 1st May, when they first asked me to mail it on 30th April. I received another DS 3032 email on 5th May, after which I resent my email today and *again*, got the DS 3032 email from them. So confusing! :S

I'm not going to send another one because, according to what I've learned here on VJ, you shouldn't have to send it twice. And I made sure I got everything right in the email. :\

Did anyone else have a similar issue?

Priority date: 14th October 2011

Case Complete at NVC: 29th May 2012

Interview schedule for 30th July 2012 > Result: Administrative Processing / Green slip 221(g)

AP ended on 29th August - Passport in hand!!

Am having issues with the DS-3032 also. I have emailed it twice, since April 15th AND they also sent me a checklist for it, which I responded to with the actual PAPER FORM via FedEx. I know its in the building and I know its on their server. Why its not in the system, that I don't know...

Oh so you've been having trouble too... that's strange. I've asked Saylin on the NVC May Filers thread, you can check her answers there! It might help.

I was just looking at the DS 3032 form and just wanted to ask if I fill it out as the petitioner or if my wife fills it out as the beneficiary? (she is the one who is immigrating). Since I am in the US and she is in Vietnam, we prefer the mail to come here to me but if it's suppose to be sent to her then we don't want to make a mistake on this form. Thanks

If you prefer to receive the email in the US, you'll have to let the NVC know that all future correspondence is to be with you. You're going to act as an agent or attorney for your wife. That is *exactly* what the DS 3032 form is about. So let her fill it in and email it to the NVC. Or, if you want to go by the postal route, have her download the form, fill it in and sign it (the beneficiary has to sign it when mailing the form via regular post) and mail it to the NVC herself... or to you, and then you can post it to the NVC. Either way, your wife has to let them know you're her agent now.

Hope that helps!

I was just looking at the DS 3032 form. After I downloaded the form, it does not allow me to save any change to the form. I says that you must print the form. I was just curious that if can't save what you type into this form, how can you email it?

DS 3032 is the only step when you can E-FILE regardless of Applicant's ( Beneficiary)Country. There are limited U.S. Embassies and Consulates where you can do most of your NVC corrosponding via email. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_5164.html

If you use DS 3032 form, you have to mail it (Original) to NVC.Complete the form, print out, sign and then send to the NVC mailing address.there is no othere way around Beneficiary has to SIGN.

But E-file might be easier and time saving ( my experience). Petitioner has to give Petitioner and Beneficiary email addresses to NVC when he/she talks to NVC to get CASE number. After getting CASE number and sharing email addresses, Beneficiary ( at least his/her email address) can send DS-230 without waiting for any further instruction from NVC. For email purpose, you don't download DS-230, just email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov . Use the template from visajourney.
