Quotas on fiancee visas for the Philippines?

Then how do you explain the Diversity Lottery rules? Certain countries are excluded, because they are over-represented by other visa paths.

Or, how do you explain the visa bulletin here where oversubscribed countries (China, India, Mexico, and Philippines) have earlier cut-off dates than other countries? In other words, if you want be be reunited with a brother or sister, you may have to wait 23 years, instead of 12 years, if your sibling is Filipino.

No, there are definitely quotas for most categories of visas, but not all.

I was thinking of them in terms of the quotas used to try to keep the US European-American, not in these terms. Thanks for the links.

Timeline:

Met online - 2005

Started dating - 2008

10 trips, 400+ days together - 2008-2012

NOA1, CVC - 14 December 2011

NOA2, CVC - 17 May 2012 (155 days)

File arrived at the NVC on 6/25/2012 - that's 5.5 weeks or so from the NOA2

NVC said that they sent it onward to Sydney on 7/2/2012
