Interview. Age difference?

Hi,

My Husband has his interview in London on November 2nd. He is currently with me in the States as a

Tourist and will be flying back for his interview. I am 19 years older than my husband (he is 21), could

this be a red flag to the interview officer? If so would it be worth me flying with him to attend the interview

as well? I do not want the officer to think it is a sham marriage because of our age difference!

Thank You

Kym

A considerable age gap is common charateristic in fraud cases which is why is gets tag a red flag. The imporant thing to do is show evidence that your relationship is a legitimate one. I am sure your communications and photos will reveal this. IF your fiance is asked about the ge difference then answer honestly about what this fact of your relationship means or doesn't mean to you.

Many couples have an age difference. The consulates aren't suprised by this surely. It may or may not cause them to question the legitimacy of your case. I am sure you will be fine.

Good luck on the interview! (F)
