US Consulate will send you packet 3. They do all paper works through mail.

Yes, have fun in HK, I know a great jeweler and reasonable, speaks Chinese and English. She and my wife go along great, she is on face book also if interested, PM me.

Hi guys,

I'd like to confirm if we found my fiance's mom as our co-sponsor, what household size should we fill out for her? My fiance is living on his own, his mom is living with husband and a daughter.

the household size should be 4 including me?

what if she doesn't make that much?

Unless she could combine her income with another household member (the other household member would have to complete an I-864A) to get over the threshold, she would not qualify.

Thanks! What about Form I-864?? When should we use it?

The I-864 will be used when going through the Adjustment of Status process, for the visa interview, you will be using the I-134. Information about the I-134 can be found here.

So if my fiance's parents make $28812 yearly, we should be OK?

That's the qualifying threshold. Before a visa is issued, a CO has the final say on the whether or not the beneficiary is likely to become a public charge. Before AOS is approved, USCIS makes the determination.

They said the co-sponsor (USC's mom) cannot combine the income with her spouse?
