@ Old_Dog_Barking- I've received a text/email that my card was mailed out on 8/15 but didn't receive follow up text/email that USPS picked up the card, is that normal?

Although I received the "USPS has picked up your card" message for the GC, I never received one for the EAD; both arrived the same day.

I got my Ssn number on Wednesday so decided to apply for drivers license yesterday. I passed the test and should expect my license in a few days. Now just awaiting the interview

You're adjusting status FROM a Family based visa (K1). Although the processes are very similar up to the EAD, they are different because K1 get transferred to CSC. I'm glad you obtained an interview, it will speed up your case (CSC is very slow right now). Good luck.

Yes I did the both test on the same day. I was asked for my license from Trinidad and Tobago and my international license. They took some information and then made me take the pictures

Well, it's the beginning of another week for all of us. Maybe Moonpie, Dee07, and myself will get our interview notifications this week.

Sent my documents in May,got an RFE in June,sent what they requested.Received a biometrics appointment for fingerprints towards the end of June,did it and now I am still waiting.When I check my status for EAD,AP,Adjustment of Status is says:Initial Review :crying: :crying:

I was more of a reader but here is my wife timeline.

I went to my naturalization ceremony on May 21st and got my certificate. And on May 22nd and sent the AOS package. My wife and I been married for 4 years on coming August 23rd

5/22/2012 - Package sent to Chicago Lockbox at 11 am

5/23/2012 - Email/text notifications received at 4:50 p.m.

5/25/2012 - Checks cashed

5/27/2012 - NOA hard copies received for I-130, I-485 and I-765

6/10/2012 - Biometrics notice received. Scheduled for 6/19/2012.

6/19/2012 - Biometrics completed.

6/22/2012 – RFE (original birth certificate)

7/11/2012 - Text/email/hard copy notification of interview.

8/04/2012 - EAD card production ordered.

8/11/2012 - EAD card received.

8/20/2012 - Interview @ 8:30

8/20/2012 - Email notification of GC production at 5:30pm

At the interview, the IO was very nice. He went to office with my wife while I was waiting outside the office. After 5 minutes he came out and asked for my wife’s passport and stamped it.

So I went with him in the office and we were only talking about travelling and other stuffs not related to the interview. Wife told me he only asked for my name, date of birth and day of our wedding.
