Since she couldn't approve on the spot, they didn't keep my EAD...

What do I do with it once my GC arrives?

Received: 12/30/2011

Biometrics: 02/27/2012

EAD received: 03/03/2012

SSN application: 03/23/2012

SSN received: 03/30/2012

Interview: 04/24/2012

GC approval: 04/26/2012

Welcome letter: 04/30/2012

GC arrival: 05/04/2012

ROC submitted: 04/07/2014

denied "not properly signed": 04/18/2014 :ranting:

new packet mailed: 04/19/2014

Receipt notice: 04/26/2014

Biometrics Appointment: 05/19/2014 - reschedule request sent

Biometrics Appiontment: 05/29/2014 - they're on their game

Green Card approved: 07/14/2014

Green Card arrived: 07/19/2014

Naturalization process to begin in 2015

The same happened to me. I am just assuming EAD is invalid once you have your green card so put it away and use your green card.

Our Timeline (F1 to AOS)

08/2008- I moved here on a F1 Visa

10/12/08- My husband and I had our first date.

03/28/11- Our Wedding! smile.png

11/17/11- Our AOS packet finally mailed on my bday! smile.png

11/22/11- Our AOS packet received and signed for.

11/26/11- Email/text notifications for all petitions received

11/28/11- Checks Cashed

12/03/11- NOAs for all petitions received in the mail

12/16/11- RFE received

01/07/12- Biometrics appt received

01/31/12- Biometrics appt completed

02/02/12- RFE sent to uscis

02/06/12- RFE received by uscis

02/10/12- Sent tax return

02/13/12- Tax return received by USCIS

02/15/12- EAD and AP approved. Card production ordered.

02/24/12- Received Combo card in the mail

03/06/12-Notification on USCIS site that interview notice for 04/11 was sent

04/11/12- Interview (Approved on the spot)

04/19/12- Card Production ordered! smile.png

***Removal of Conditions Process***

01/27/14- ROC Packet mailed to USCIS

01/31/14- USPS shows packet was delivered

02/08/14- NOA 1 received, dated 02/03/14

02/14/14- Biometric letter received for 03/07/14

Actually my EAD came the same day as my GC. I still have it in our strong box. Nice souvenir of the strange processing time of USCIS :D

AOS 05/08/10 - sent05/14/10 - receipt date on NOAs - transferred to National Benefits Center06/14/10 - Biometrics Done - Lawrence, MA (original appt)07/26/10 - Interview - APPROVED!!07/30/10 - Welcome letter rec'd (notice date: 07/26)08/05/10 - Green Card (&EAD) Received! - 2 months and 28 days total!ROC 04/28/12 - ROC package sent05/03/12 - check cashed05/04/12 - NOA1 received - dated 05/01/1206/07/12 - Biometrics done02/07/13 - Approved (status update via text msg)02/14/13 - Ten year Green card receivedNaturalization07/26/13 - eligible (90 day window opened 4/27/13)02/24/14 - N-400 sent to Dallas03/04/14 - Check cashed & case accepted (update via txt & email)03/10/14 - Biometrics appt letter rec'd (scheduled for 03/28/13)03/28/14 - Biometrics done04/01/14 - In line for interview 04/03/14 - Case status change to scheduled for interview04/10/14 - interview letter rec'd 5/13/14 - interview 6/3/14 - in line for oath 6/30/14 - Scheduled for oath

lol thanks. I didn't know if it needed to be returned or what not. I wouldn't mind keeping it since they lost our airline tickets (stupid lawyer for sending them in in the first place)... would give me something to hang on to. :)
