Hello, I have applied I-130 for my wife and it got approved and now I just got the invoice for fee (AOS and IV bill) and the case number from NVC. I have paid the fees today. what is the next step in the process. Is it just to wait for a response from the NVC to send the documents or you just the documents anyways?...my lawyer is saying to wait until nvc gets back, but some forums says opposite!!plzz help

You keep checking the payment portal until the invoices show "PAID". Click on each one and follow instructions on how to print barcoded receipts. Send the I864 package with the appropriate barcode sheet on top, send the DS230 and all documents with the IV barcode receipt on top.

02/21/2011: NOA1

06/22/2011: NOA2

06/30/2011: NVC

07/05/2011: DS-3032 email received

07/05/2011: DS-3032 emailed

07/06/2011: AOS Bill received

07/06/2011: AOS Fee Paid

07/09/2011: I864 Sent

07/11/2011: IV Fee Bill received

08/30/2011: IV Fee Paid

09/30/2011: IV Pkg Sent

10/24/2011: RFE (we dragged our feet from here on)

(forget all this for now, let's go on holiday!)

03/13/2012: NVC CASE COMPLETE!!

04/05/2012: Received interview appt email

06/22/2012: Medical @ Knightsbridge

06/29/2012: Interview 8am-Result: Pending

??/??/????: I601 Filed at Lock-Box

why do you need a lawyer if you're doing all of this.

NVC (20days)

03/19/2012-case received at NVC

04/03/2012-Got case #,IIN from operator

04/03/2012-Emailed DS-3032

04/04/2012-Pay AOS fee ($88)

04/05/2012-AOS fee showing its PAID

04/09/2012-Sent AOS package

04/16/2012-Received IV fee bill

04/17/2012-Paid IV bill ($230)

04/18/2012-IV fee showing its PAID;sent IV package

04/23/2012-Case complete

05/03/2012-Interview date set

06/06/2012-Interview date

Call the NVC and they always said if you paid fees online then you can process ahead and submitt i864 and ds-230

yea so go ahead to the site and pay your fees. then submit the forms.

your lawyer should be doing this. that why you hired him/her.
