HI everyone,

I am trying to be effecient and get some of the preparationg started for my next journey. I am trying to order my tax transcripts through IRS website and filling out the online form, under the TYPE OF TRANSCRIPT... there is a drop down box and has two options... 1) Account Transcript ...2) Return Transcripts. Which one should I choose. I am ordering them ahead of time so we are ready when we need them?

You need return transcripts.

As long as you lived at the same address as where you filed at the time, you should have no problem ordering them online.

I just remebered another question, it is okay if I order them now or not? It is not dated as to when I ordered them, right? I don't want have problems ath Embassy when it comes to that step.

It doesn't matter when you order them, they don't ever lose validity. They should take about a week to turn up.
