Hello Friends,

I have small and silly question. We have received our case number at NVC. The forum says that Step 2 is as follows:

Step 2 – Choice of Agent Form (DS-3032) Generation & I-864 Fee Invoicing

NVC Generates and sends a copy of the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent form) to the petitioner.

NVC Sends the original DS-3032 (Choice of Agent form) to the beneficiary in the foreign country.

We havnt received the DS-3032. How will we receive it bu e-mail or hard copy.

I have e-mailed NVC the DS 3032 in the format specified on this site. Is that enough?

There is no confirmation that they received the email you sent. However, you will know it was received when the IV bill is generated.

Don't wait for them to send you a DS-230, you can get from this page and complete it appropriately. Once the IV bill shows PAID, the form and accompanying documentation can be sent.

Actually unless it has changed since 2010, she will receive an email confirmation stating something like the following:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent.

According to our records, your Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment was made on-line through the Department of State's website: www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Fee Collection. You must now download and complete the appropriate Affidavit of Support form and submit it to the NVC in order to complete your immigrant visa processing.

Please visit the Department of State's website above to download a copy of the I-864, I-864EZ, I-864A, or I-864W and/or the instructions.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.
