I had my medical exam in manila last Monday April 23 - 24, 2012. When I'm already in the Immunization room April 23, the doctor asked me when was my last last period and the last contact with my husband so I told her that I don't have my period yet after I deliver my second baby last January 23, 2012. She told me that she will not going to give me some vaccines because maybe I'm pregnant, she told me to go back after 1 month of contact with my husband to take the vaccine or go back when my period comes. She told me to go back tomorrow to get the CD in the releasing area. April 24, I went back to the hospital to get the CD in the releasing area and told me that they will just send the result directly to the Embassy.

April 25, while waiting for my flight in the airport going back home, PERIOD comes. I thought to go back to the hospital to take the shots but I don't have enough time already and I don't want to miss my flight.

Having no vaccine can cause any problem in my interview on May 9?

It depends on what the doctor wrote on the medical forms. If she wrote that the immunizations were contraindicated due to possible pregnancy, you will probably not have an issue.

You can get the immunizations now, in case they do say you need them in order to issue the Visa. Then you'll already have your evidence to hand to them.

You will have to wait and see what they say at your interview.

If you might be pregnant they will void the requirement for any vaccine that may cause issues. If you are a K1 and have to AOS you may be asked to get them then ( if you get stuck with a new medical and are not pregnant ) The doctors have the power to exclude what they feel you don't need or anything they can't get.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thank you all for the reply. I appreciate it. I have another question...

My interview will be on May 9 so I have to be there a day before my interview. I was planning to go back to St. Luke for my shots after I arrive in Manila on May 8 since I just finished my period. Do you think they gonna give any documents or a note that I can bring to my interview saying that I took my vaccines?
