Quick question-I filed in Mexico City and my letter says it was approved on 3-Feb-12. How long did it take to hear from them again? I tried calling Juarez but they said they couldn't help me since I don't have a case number; they directed me to the NVC. NVC says that they haven't received it yet. Any advice? I am a little confused and frustrated. Thanks!

Hello Guadmom,

After I got my Letter from mexico city been approved on the 10 apr., I was sent to the US address I put we would be arriaving at about a couple days later. That letter stated that the I-130 had been approved and that I can go ahead and make my appointment on line and follow some steps. That letter came from CDJ. So it was REALY FAST!!

Can you give me the phone number you used to call CDJ....cause I have called and can not get a person on line. I need my beneficiary number and NVC (since we are DFC NVC has nothing on us!!

Hey! Thanks for responding. I am so frustrated with CDJ right now. When I call CDJ they send me to NVC, and I thought that it shouldn't be sent there either. But every time I call CDJ they keep sending me to NVC . SO I am so confused right now?!!! And angry. Since the NVC says they don't have my papers. To make sure I was right I looked on CDJ consulate webpage and it does say that it is then sent to the NVC. So I am not sure if they have changed policies or what.

The CDJ # 656 227 3000

Good luck! Let me know what happens and if you have any advice??

it's a different intake process, and the ppl at CDJ that you talked with are clueless.

You need to schedule an interview online, or figure out how to handle the DS-230/260 intake.

Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
