HELP!! Desperate....

So my past I-129F petition, the one with the guy I broke up with in August 2010 and that we never even got to the interview stage for (only NOA2) STILL hasn't expired! So... now I have to cancel it in order to apply for a new visa for my husband. Anyone have any ideas how long this takes? I haven't stopped crying, I need to go back to the States ASAP.

Well, I just called the USCIS and they told me the date in red I saw on the bottom of the page has nothing to do with my case, it's for them only, that the valid dates are the ones in the NOA2: 6/28/2010 till 10/28/2010, so it's expired!!!!!!! Thank god.

And yes it did reach the consulate, but we never even made an appointment for the interview, we broke up very soon after the NOA2.

I know how you feel. I keep trying to think of things throughout this process that could potentially mess things up all the time! I don't think it's healthy
