hello everyone! i came here as K1 visa holder last sept. 2011 and now still waiting for my AOS approval. i just want to ask about the k2 visa process and procedure. is it the same process and procedure like the k1 visa and all the forms and documents the k1 visa required to present and to be filled up? thank you vj friends.

May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

Tina, that's all the paperwork and medical stuff, sure,

but to actually 'get it started' - one usually contacts the IV unit where the K-1 interview was started, let THEM know yer ready to START the paperwork on the K-2.

In China, this is done by simply sending of the OF-169 packet with the docs/forms asked for, then the case is opened at the IV Unit, and an interview is scheduled.

Do you have further fodder on yer blogspot for what was required to START the process at the IV Unit in Manila ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
