Which is better to file from??

Does anyone have an opinion - -

I am an American, going to visit my Indian fiance in England this summer.

We're trying to figure out if it would be better for us start the K1 application process by going to the embassy together in the UK, or if I should get started right away here in the States?

I am afraid that my own government will not believe me about our relationship if he is not here in person....

Personally I would start the I-129F now rather than wait. I see no benefit to applying at the consulate in the UK or to waiting as it's a very long process. Regardless of where you apply they should be using the same requirements to make the determination. My best advice to you though is to make sure you have lots of proof. Take photos together, across different dates, in different places, doing different things with the date stamp on the photos if possible (for some reason they like film-dated photos at USCIS as secondary evidence). Make sure to keep airline ticket stubs, receipts for things like the hotel, etc as primary evidence of having met in person. Good luck!

An I-129F can only be filed at the lockbox facility in TX. Going to the Embassy in London together to file an I-129F petition would be nothing more than an exercise in futility.

I would suggest you include as much evidence of your relationship as you can when you file the paperwork.
