Wow, the Saga goes on!

My Fiance has now received a letter, which he is yet to send me a copy of.

It is addressed to me! And says something about leting the embassy know of my correct address!

We had called the USCIS about my change of address, and sent a letter recorded delivery! We even have a notice frome the USCIS saying thankyou for your informations blah blah blah...

I can not believe how ineficiant this is!

Oh well, I still thankful we are further along than I thought. I would urge people going through CA USCIS to double check their files if they have moved address!

I'd say it's unbelievable..but unfortunately, with everything else we've all seen and experienced, it's totally believable...It makes me want to bang my head against a wall repeatedly...

So sorry you have to deal with this nonsense... UGH!!! <_<

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

Sorry but I think the odds of getting a visa before your wedding are very low.

There is no need to be so rude! I thought the point of a forum was to post, I care a great deal about this process (as I am sure everyone else does!) and will post as many times as I feel aproproaie for my sanity! Anyway, who's counting? If I didnt post I would go insane.

Thanks you for you help with the timelines, much apreciated!

Statistically I agree.

I don't want to get Claire's hopes up but I will say this....

Last winter there was a poster here who had a VERY unrealistic travel date/wedding date listed on her Packet 3 checklist.

Damned if London didn't cough up the dates she needed.

Then she CALLED THEM AND HAD THEM CHANGE THE INTERVIEW TO A LATER DATE. She claimed she couldn't possibly be ready that quickly.

Claire, calm down. Dev's trying to be realistic that's all. You DO need to prepare an alternative plan.

Yeah I know, Thanks.

Trouble is I actually dont kow when I had my NOA2 as we never received, all the embassy said was they sent packet 3 on the 27th September. I am trying to be realistinc, but actually an convinced it will happen in time, things allways seemt o work out in the end, and I am keeping that in mind! Staying possitive works for me, My fiance does the negativity and pessemistic part.

Well, I am ready to go, any time they like!!!!!

Hmmm. Interesting. It will be tight for sure. As far as booking a flight a few days after interveiws & all.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I've seen you post several frantic posts that could easily be answered by research on your own. The timeline search in an easy one & would have answered several of your posts.

We're all in a hurry here but patience is needed in this process!

PS: You WILL need a copy of your NOA2 for AOS if not at the interview. A replacement costs $200!!!

Wow, $200 even if we have a receipt of a letter to the USCIS stating our new address! Its their fault not mine.

Sorry, I tried to work out the time line search and just couldnt figure it out!
