applying for K-1 while fiance is in the states

Hi all, first time poster here.

I just had a quick question concerning the K-1 visa I was hoping you all could help me with.

My Fiance is currently visiting me in the United States. She will be here for another 2 months (she is on a tourist visa). Can we start the process for the K-1 visa (send in the I-129f packet) now while she is visiting me? I know that she must be in her home country after the NOA2 arrives for her interviews, but that usually takes a couple of months so I am hoping it won't be an issue.

Agreed, do it while you're together in the U.S. We did the same thing.
