umm but now they don't ask for any envelop in Pkt 4 'List of things to bring'. I don't think i put in an envelop in my pkt 3.

Maybe i should email them now.

Don't worry about it - just bring a 3kg Platinum envelope to the interview and it will be ok!

Regards.

I think I'll go ahead and do that too. It's doesn't say to bring anything like that to the interview, but I'll play it safe.

Crikey they're expensive. Maybe the consulate has realised we've spent enough money already and don't want us to spend any more. xD

  • 4 months later...

We are outside of the next-day network (Corindi Beach NSW)

So would there be any point in getting a Platinum?

The lady at the post office said with us being out of the network, there wouldn't be a difference in delivery time so we just got the standard express post 3kg satchel

The track service is useless. Don't waste your money.

I think a express post envelope is enough.

Because it's also guaranteed delivery next day.

I just got my visa delivery notice today.

In these days, I tried to track the mail.

There is nothing for me! :bonk:

By the way, regular Express Post has tracking too, just not "detailed tracking" (you only get a notification when it's been delivered - you don't get to see the progress along the way)

It's been torturous not knowing where the package is, and I now regret not spending the extra $5 for Platinum

Doh!
